Life is all just Suffering

Nature has given us life just to suffer. Okay, before you all point your guns at me and call me pessimistic and other synonyms, hear my side too. Grief and sadness are natural occurrences, while happiness has to be induced. If we stop doing everything, sadness and sorrow will follow, but not happiness; for happiness, you have to make a continuous effort. There are hundreds of aspects in one's life, such as health, wealth, family, friends, relationships, and professional life. All of these need to align and be in harmony at the same time for one to be happy. However, if even one of these is not going well, we will feel sorrow. Even if all of these are going well, it still doesn't guarantee happiness, as one might go through an existential crisis, mid-life crisis, etc.

If you don't move your body enough, you will gain weight, leading to various life-threatening diseases. If you don't work hard enough, you won't get a job, which will create more pain. Happiness requires effort, but for sadness and sorrow, you just have to exist—that's it. Human emotions make it even more difficult. We crave things we don't have or can't have, which only brings pain. Someone may fall in love with a person who will never love them back, and there we are, doomed. In my opinion, life is a landscape of sadness and pain with patches of happiness here and there, and even those are temporary. Our aim should be to distract ourselves from this sadness and pain, to find happiness in small and temporary things, to find what we love to do and keep doing it. We should find ways to maximize our avoidance of the sorrow that 'life'—as given to us by nature—brings. Do not try to find the meaning of life because you will never find an answer; only more questions will arise.
